Community Access Participation (CAP)

The CAP program is an Industry Canada initiative which provides free Internet access and free computer training workshops in East Toronto.

  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft Word

Community volunteers, who have experience and practical knowledge in the subjects they teach, lead the workshops.  The focus is two-fold, the students learn in a relaxed environment where the emphasis is on making the experience both fun and educational.

The programs are designed to meet the differing needs for each of the following groups:

  • Youth
  • Seniors
  • Newcomers to Canada
  • Learning disabled

Students learn skills that build on what knowledge they already have, such as using the Internet.  In no time at all, they are surfing the Internet, sending e-mail and so much more.

For more information about our hours of operation, training dates and CAP site locations, please call: 416-691-7407.

We look forward to hearing from you
