To be eligible for this program, you must be between 16 and 29 years of age and looking for work.  We offer the following services:
  • Computers with Internet access
  • Resume and cover letter writing
  • Job postings, job leads and referrals
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Interview skills development
  • Information on social issues
  • Faxing
Youth Options and Opportunities (Y.O.O.)

An exciting 4-week pre-employment training program, it is designed to teach the necessary skills to be competitive in today's labour market.

   The program requires that you be a youth

  • between the ages of 16 and 29
  • no longer attending school
  • able to commit to program hours (Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm)
  • possess a basic level of English.
   Y.O.O. Offers
  • Intensive assessments
  • Employment and life skill workshops
  • Ongoing one-on-one support
  • Referrals to other services
  • Use of computers, Internet, fax and telephones
  • Follow-up and support
  • Fist aid and CPR training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification
