| To be eligible for this program, you must be between 16 and 29 years of age and looking for work. We offer the following services: |
- Computers with Internet access
- Resume and cover letter writing
- Job postings, job leads and referrals
- Volunteer opportunities
- Coaching and mentoring
- Interview skills development
- Information on social issues
- Faxing
Youth Options and Opportunities (Y.O.O.) |
An exciting 4-week pre-employment training program, it is designed to teach the necessary skills to be competitive in today's labour market.
The program requires that you be a youth |
- between the ages of 16 and 29
- no longer attending school
- able to commit to program hours (Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm)
- possess a basic level of English.

- Ongoing one-on-one support
- Referrals to other services
- Use of computers, Internet, fax and telephones
- Follow-up and support
- Fist aid and CPR training
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification
